blank cds worth more then their weight in hash?

Here the Register takes the Guardian's student version to task for linking counterfeit DVD/Cds with terrorists, and explains why there ain't no connection. Even the data that was drummed into the byline is questionable, since it gets the cost per cd wrong (as did I for years) and quotes a cost for hash identical to when I was in high school (you'd think it would have went up, with all those Wars On Drugs). So who got the Guardian to carry water for movie and recording industry?

(Note to amerikan readers: this is what is known as journalism, as opposed to what you read in the paper, which is mediation.)
