mozilla updates

Mozilla.org has released Firefox 1.0pr, Thunderbird 0.8 and Mozilla Suite 1.7.3. They recently updated Camino, the OS X native Mozilla based browser. In honor of the Preview release of 1.0, I'm bloging in it, instead of Camino.

For the uninitiated, Mozilla is the Netscape spin off open source, open standards, run on any operating system, pop-up blocking browser, and the not for profit that runs the project. Mozilla Suite is their bundled web browser/email/IRC/web composer, While Firefox is their stripped down lean clean hyperexpandable browsing machine and Thunderbird is their seperate email client. They're free and easy to use, not prone to the massive security issues of M$ Internet Exploder, and can customized to your heart's desire.

You need more then one browser- I always have one browser set to reject cookies, and one Mozilla based browser set to ask me before excepting cookies so I can examine what's being thrown at me. Firefox is great for this, or browsing through a slow connection-I turn off image downloading.
