apple tops pc magazine survey
Apple laptops and desktops toped the PC Magazine 17th annual Readers Satisfaction Survey.
" 9.0 for desktops and 9.2 for notebooks, Apple's impressive reliability scores are at least a point higher than the industry averages. Nearly all respondents to our survey who supplied quotes about their Apple desktops found them extremely reliable. Compared with other brands, a much lower percentage of Apple desktop systems needed repairs over the last year."
That's pretty damn amazing.
(for the lawyers in the crowd, that's a PC magazine survey of it's readers, who are PC users. PC has become a term that means an Intel or workalike CPU'd computer running a Microsoft operating system. Apple is a company that sells computers with CPUs that are incompatible with MS operating systems, and run an operating system loosely based on MACH called OS X. Larry Lessig didn't write this post or the one referred to in the link. no lawyers were consulted in the writing of this post, nor were any congress critters)
